Ok, so i'm going to post a book on, it's called Life sucks and well i want some feedback!!

Here goes....

Chapter 1

School. Urg!!!

Today was the day I went to back to school. September 8, we were starting senior year in a new school. Me and my sister Rosalie were getting ready for our first day. I sat on my purple queen mattress bed and played with my hair, I new I was supposed to get ready but I just wasn’t in the mood, so I sat while Rose was most probably standing at her closer tapping her chin with her long manicured fingernail. Finally I thought to get this over with; being late was not going to make this any better.

I got up and walked to my closet--smiling when I looked at the gold designs I drew on the black door--and opened it. I thought that I would go sheek but nothing that would stop a car. I found my black tank top and pulled over a gray sweater that had a black bow that fell over the shoulder. I paired that with a pair of pre-ripped jeans and Mable strappy platform heels.(0utf!t 0n pr0f!le) I found my book bag and jammed some of the binders I got in there, along with notebooks, pencils, pens, paper, and finally my wallet.

I walked to the mirror and ran a brush through my shoulder length mahogany hair a few times, when I was satisfied I put the brush down and applied mascara and black eyeliner to bring out my grey-blue eyes. Then I slapped on some rose lip gloss to highlight my pink pouty lips and walked out the door with my bag.

I closed the door on my way and walked towards Rosalie’s room. I gently knocked.

“Rose?” I asked.

“Come in Anne!” She called back.

I opened the door to reveal a decked up, traffic stopping Rosalie. She always dressed to impress, her long blonde hair was waving down to her shoulders, she had scarlet red lipstick on and charcoal black eyeliner that made her deep blue eyes pop. She was wearing a sequenced gray tank dress and a gray blazer on top, and under her dress she had black leggings with a bella bronze print. She was wearing gray gloves and a black scarf along with black movie star sunglasses. And to pull it all off she was wearing 3 inch black pumps, and was carrying her beige channel book bag. (Outfit on profile)

“Wow,” I mumbled.

“Thank you, you look simple, but good enough.” She smirked.

“Thanks,” I smiled.

“No problem,” She smiled.

Rose was looking at herself in the mirror, shifting side to side to make sure she looked perfect. Though in my head if I were here I would walk the streets in garbage bags, and I still bet guys would turn heads and not just because of the weird outfit, she looked like a goddess, there was no other word to describe her.

I walked up to her, putting my hands on her shoulders and guided her away from the mirror. “You look great, now let’s go!” I said.

“Fine.” She grumbled.

We walked down the stairs and to the kitchen. Rose and I were twins, but not many people would say that looking at us. Rose was a blonde and I was a brunette, she was 5’10 and I was 5’9, her eyes were more of a pure blue while mine were a grey-blue. The tings that we had in common was that I guess we had the same features, like our noses and facial structure, we both had pink plump, pouty lips, and high cheek bones.

We were both 18 and lived on our own, far, far away from our parents. Both our parents were rich, high society, money freaks, Rosalie and I had to endure the pain of living with them, but when we turned 18 last month we packed our bags and said ‘see ya!’ to our parents. So we moved to Chicago, Illinois and thought that we could have a new start here. Living in Port Angeles, Washington was nice, it was a small town but Rosalie and I always like the city and dreamed of moving here since we were 13.

Rosalie walked over to the kitchen table and sat down. “Can you make me some coffee?” She asked.

“Sure.” I mumbled, walking over to the coffee maker, poured some for Rosalie and myself, adding sugar and cream for both, I handed one to Rosalie and sat next to her with mine.

“So how much times till school?” She asked.

I looked over to the watch. “20 minutes.” I stated.

She nodded, we had some time. “You hungry?” She asked.

I shook my head, no. She shrugged and walked up to the counter and took out a pop tart, popped it in the toaster, and after it was done, chomped down on it.

“We better get going,” She said.

I nodded and got up. We walked to the garage, there were two cars there my black Mazda 3 Sedan and there was Rosalie’s cherry red BMW.

“Which?” She asked.

“I don’t want to drive.” I said.

“Cool.” She said, smiling at her ‘Baby’. No one was allowed to drive it, but me, and only in an emergency, the same went for me, I didn’t let anyone drive my car, it wasn’t that expensive, but I loved it, we were allowed to get these kinds of cars, only because of the money we had in our banks, we were stinking rich, but we weren’t snobby, well we were but, it came with the territory.

I got in the passenger while Rosalie was already in the driver’s side. She threw her book bag in the back seat and I did the same, she pulled the hood down and we were off once the garage door opened. Driving through Chicago was beautiful; it was everything I imagined and more. There were trees and parks, but at the same time there was buildings and lots of people.

“Amundsen High School- home of the Vikings”

Rose pulled in when she saw the sign, the school was big, and had a terracotta color buildings. There weren’t any good looking cars, the best one in the parking lot was a shiny silver Volvo, our cars were going to stand out, there was no doubt to that. Rose parked next to the silver Volvo and we both got out, taking our book bags while we closed the doors and Rose closed the hood.

“So where do we go first?” Rose asked when we walked into the school.

“The office.” I said, looking around.

I finally found the building that had huge black letters indicating that it in fact was the office, I guided Rose there and we walked in. Behind a desk was a middle aged lady, she had chestnut brown hair and her eyes were a strange shade of violet. When she noticed our arrival she smiled. I smiled back at her.

“Well hello, what can I do for you two girls?” She asked.

“I’m Anne Hale and this is my sister Rosalie Hale,” I introduced.

“Oh! Of course.” She said, scurrying through drawers and handed us some papers with our locker numbers, combos, classes, and a map of a school, she also showed us the best routes to each class, along with a slip that we were to get each teacher sign and give it back to the secretary at the end of the day. We left after that and decided to go check out the lockers.

“Hey! Mine is right next to yours!” Rose said, smiling.

“Yeah.” I smiled.

She stopped in front of our lockers¾opened her while I did the same and then turned to look at me, putting her books inside.

“What’s wrong?” She asked.

“I don’t know, I guess I’m nervous.” I mumbled.

“Come on, you¾Anne Marie Hale¾nervous?” She asked, perching one perfectly sculpted eyebrow.

I shrugged. “Yea, I guess.” I said.

“Well then puck up the coat, and walk with head high.” She advised.

I giggled, putting my books into the locker and keeping the books I needed for the next class, which was English.

“Hey Rose?” I asked.

“Yes?” She asked, fixing a magnetic mirror in her locker and then checked her lipstick.

“You look great, now shut it!” I said.

She sighed, closing her locker and fixed her bag on her shoulder. “Yes?” She repeated.

“What are you classes?” I asked.

“Well,” She says, looking at her schedule. “English, French, Trig, Lunch, Physics, and Gym.” She said.

“Same except that I don’t have physics and gym. I have Biology and Spanish.” I said.

She nodded. “Come on let’s go to English.” She smiled.

We linked arms and walked down the hallways in style they way we always did swaying our hips side to side. All the students turned to look at us, it was quite flattering. We finally made it to English class and walked over to the teacher, he signed each of our slips and let us sit anywhere in the class.

I sat down next to Rose and some guy, he was tall with dirty blonde hair and baby blue eyes, he seemed friendly. He smiled at me, and I smiled back.

Mr. Mason¾the English teacher¾started his lecture and the blonde boy turned to me, trying small talk.

“Hi, I’m Mike, Mike Newton.” He smiled.

“Anne,” I whispered, not wanting to get in trouble on my first day, luckily the teacher didn’t mind socialising, many students were talking.

“So where are you from?” He asked.

“Washington.” I said.

He nodded. “Hey you’re a Hale aren’t you?” He asked.

I nodded. “Wow, aren’t you like filthy rich?” He asked.

I giggled. “Yes, I guess.” I said.

“Hey asshole, listen to the teacher will ya? Stop flirting with my sister, she is way out of your league.” Rose said from her seat, her voice full of venom.

Mike went wide-eyed at her words, but looked at the front of the class. I looked at Rose, disappointed.

“Rose, you said that you would stop, we’re to fit in not be absolutely hideous people.” I scolded.

“Sorry.” She mumbled.

“Say sorry to him,” I said, pointing my head to Mike.

She grimaced at the thought of apologizing to someone else. Even though I was younger than Rose by 5 minutes, I was always more responsible and sensible.

“Sorry, Mike.” She said to Mike, he looked at her, but smiled.

“It’s ok.” He mumbled.

Surprisingly Rose smiled back at him, and it reached her eyes. After English was over Mike was nice enough to walk us to our next classes, everything went well through French and Trig, and finally we got to lunch break. In our Trig class, Rose made friends with a girl named Jessica Stanley, she was a nice girl, she was short with dark brown curly hair, and bright blue eyes.

We made our way to the cafeteria along with Mike, Jessica, and a few other people I didn’t have the memory to remember their names. Rose and I went to go get a lunch and I purchased a sandwich while Rose got the salad. We got back to the table where everyone was and I sat next to Mike and Rose while Rose sat next to Jessica and me.

“So, Rose, how is it in Washington, must be rainy and awful.” Jessica commented.

“Yes well-”Rose started.

“Washington is wonderful. It’s home.” I interjected.

“Well then why did you move here?” Jessica asked.

“Because we wanted out of our old home.” I explained.

“Why would you want that?” She asked.

“That’s personal.” Rose said.

Jessica kept silent after that, never getting on the bad side of Rose, I kept conversation with Mike and this other girl named Angela, she was a nice girl, a bit mousy but she was nice enough.

It was there that I saw them walk in the cafeteria, there were 4 of them, 3 men and one girl. The girl was short and small, her features were small but angular, she had a permanent smile on her face, she had dark almost black¾ brown hair, and a pale green eye color. She was wearing good clothes, a purple long shit, with a black blazer, tight leggings, awesome black pumps, and with black beaded earrings, and to finish it off she had lavender shades on and matching book bag. (Outfit on profile)

She held hands with a tall guy, he was muscular and blonde that was sort of shaggy, but it looked nice on him, he had pale blue eyes and looked a bit dazed. Next to the blonde guy was a tall, bulky huge guy. He had chestnut brown hair color, brown eyes and killer dimples. And last was a tall lean but muscular guy, he had startling emerald green eyes, a reddish-brown¾bronze¾hair, and the looks of a god. Altogether a good looking guy, but the whole group together was startling. He was wearing a blue and yellow plaid button up shirt and black skinny jeans. (Outfit on profile)

“Who the hell are they?” Rose asked, obviously noticing them.

“The Cullen’s siblings.” Jessica replied.

“Who are who?” I asked.

“Well the short pixie girl is Alice Cullen. The big one is Emmett Cullen, the blonde is Jasper Whitlock, and the gorgeous one is Edward Cullen.” Jessica said.

“So the blond is not related to the others?” Rose asked.

“No, but he’s considered a Cullen because he hangs out with them. His dad is a huge real estate guy or something. Emmett isn’t technically related to the others either, he’s adopted, but Edward and Alice are actual siblings¾twins. They’re dad, Dr. Cullen works at the local hospital.” Jessica explained.

“Are they dating?” Rose asked.

“Well, Alice and Jasper are, not the others. Emmett is way too intimidating, and well Edward… I don’t know, but he thinks he’s too good for any of the girls here, turns down everyone.” She said.

I laughed, I could only imagine Jessica Stanley going up to a guy like Edward Cullen and asking him out, no wonder he turned her down, she looks ok, but is way out of his league.

“Why doesn’t anyone talk to them?” Rose asked.

“Well they’re all snobby, because they’re rich, though Alice did talk to me once or twice, but all I can say is that she needs to get off sugar for a while, she is like a time bomb ready to explode. Emmett is really nice though, he’s on the football team and he talks to everyone, but we still find him scary, because he’s all big.” She said.

“Edward and Jasper?” I asked.

“Well Edward is on the basketball team, and Jasper is on the baseball team, they talk to the other guys, but Jasper spends all his time with Alice and Edward is usually at the library.” She said.

“He’s a geek?” I asked.

“Well not really, they’re all smart, but he likes to avoid most people, though I know that he had an affair with Tanya Denali, the head cheerleader, but after a few dates he dumped her flat on her ass¾she had a huge crying fit all day. Alice is still friends with her sister Kate, though she’s not here today, the cheerleading team had a trip. Edward’s a bit distant, never showed interest in any girls after that fling with Tanya.” Angela piped in.

I nodded thoughtfully. After I looked once more at the table, they were all eating, Edward was nibbling on a French fry, Alice was eating her salad, Jasper sipping on some juice, and Emmett stuffing his face with a hamburger. After a while of my staring Edward looked around the cafeteria scene and his gaze caught mine. He seemed unable to look away, so I did him a favour and looked away.

Finally the bell rang, and I got up, saying bye to Rose and made my way to Biology, I walked up to the teacher giving him my slip and he told me to sit at a table in the back, I nodded and walked to my seat, took out my notebook, and started doodling idly.

I heard the seat next to mine scrape the floor, I looked up to see who was my new lab partner, to see Edward Cullen in all his glory looking at me, seated next to me.

“Hello, I’m Edward Cullen, you’re Anne Hale?” He asked.

“Yes.” I said, looking at him straight in the eye.

He nodded at looked to the front of the class. Mr. Banner¾the biology teacher¾started the class explaining cellular anatomy to the class, this was simple to me, back in Washington we learned this last year, so this was a review for me. When the teacher was giving the lesson I saw from the corner of my eye that Edward Cullen was looking at me.

“What’s your next class?” He asked.

“Spanish with Mrs. Goff.” I stated.

“That’s my next class too; would you like me to walk you there?” He asked.

I nodded, what’s the harm in that? All he would do was walk me, nothing other than that, he wasn’t mean, or distant, more like quiet, like he didn’t like the spotlight, like he had a dark past or something that was haunting him if I had anything to do with him I would get him to tell me soon.

When class was over, I got out of my seat and saw that Edward was waiting patiently at the edge of the table, looking at me. I got my stuff and walked with him to Spanish, all the way he would look at me slyly.

“Can you not?” I asked, looking at him in the eye.

He looked back without hesitation. “What?” He asked a slight smirk on his face.

“Stare at me, it makes me uncomfortable,” I said.

“My apologies,” He murmured.

I nodded curtly, he was a bit annoying, but I would get used to it. At least I wouldn’t have to sit next to him in Spanish, sure we would share the same class, but that didn’t necessarily mean I had to sit next to him.

We reached Spanish, and I left Edward to go get to his seat while I went to get the teacher to sign my slip.

“Hola, ¿qué puedo hacer por ti cariño?” She asked. (Translation: “Hello, what can I do for you sweetheart?”)

“Soy Anne Hale y yo soy el nuevo estudiante.” I said. (Translation: I’m Anne Hale and I’m the new student.”)

“Oh, por supuesto, ir a sentarse junto a Edward.” She said, signing the slip and giving it back to me. (Translation: “Oh, of course, go sit next to Edward.”)

I groaned but obeyed the order, while I was walking to sit next to him, I could see in the corner of my eye he was smirking, and I could hear his musical chuckle. I sat next to him, taking out my notebook and doodled idly again, not daring to see his stupid grin.

“Am I annoying you?” He asked, softly.

I didn’t answer, but looked straight ahead, for Señora Goff had started the class.

“I’ll take that as a yes.” He mumbled.

I slowly looked at him, his eyes were fixed on me, and a smile was lingering on his perfect lips. This time when I looked at him, I couldn’t look away, this time I saw his true beauty, because this time he didn’t have a smirk on his face, but a pure smile, I also noticed that his smile was crooked, one side came up more than the other. Then all of a sudden his eyes widened and his smile was replaced with a smirk, and my angry mood came back.

“You suck major ass.” I muttered.

And at my insult he laughed, laughed, not loud but he did! How could he! That was it I was totally annoyed by this guy, I didn’t care if he was gorgeous beyond imagination, and mysterious, I was not even going to try talking to him, he could stare, but I would ignore him.

Class ended and I walked out without a goodbye. I stormed off to my locker to see Rose talking to another Cullen, the small pixie girl¾Alice¾Edward’s twin sister. I walked over to my locker opening it angrily put my books in and slammed it closed. With that Rose and Alice flinched, Rose raised an eyebrow and smiled at me¾knowing my anger¾Alice looked at me surprised and a bit scared, her eyebrows scrunched together.

“Anne… don’t take your anger out on the lockers, they did nothing to you!” Rose said.

I smiled at her and linked arms. “Hello, I’m Alice!” Alice said looking at me.

“I’m Anne, Rose’s twin sister, I’m sorry, I’m just a bit pissed at your brother he’s and ass,” I said.

“Really what did Emmett do this time?” She asked.

“Not Emmett, Edward.” I said.

She looked at me wide eyed. “He annoyed you?” She asked incredulously.

“Yes, pain in the ass that one, he kept on staring at me, and then he would smirk, did I mention he’s an
ass?” I asked.

“Oh my god! He talked and looked at you!” She screamed.

“Yah and smiled.” I said, adding to her list of things people do everyday.

“No! Edward never even pays attention to anyone, let alone stare, smile and talk!” She exclaimed.

“What’s wrong with him?” I asked.

“I don’t know, that’s not my story to tell. But I’m guessing he’ll tell you,” She said.

“Why?” I asked, if this guy never paid attention to anyone, why would I be different.

“Well lets just say it’s a feeling.” She smiled, and with that she bid me and Rose bye, and walked in the opposite direction.

“Wow, she really is weird.” I said.

“Yeah, I guess, but I really like her.” Rose said.

“Yah me too, but I’m just saying she is weird.” I insisted.

“Yah, she is.” Rose smiled.

“So what’s up with Edward? He’s annoying you? Ooh, I bet he likes you!”

“No he does not!” I yelled.

“Whatever you say little sister.” She said, taking my hand and dragging me to the parking lot.
